Nominations for the 2022 CALACS Article Prize for Emerging Scholars
In order to recognize and encourage talented junior scholars in the field of Latin American and Caribbean Studies, the Canadian Association of Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CALACS) invites submissions for the 2022 Article Prize for Emerging Scholars.
The 2022 prize will be awarded will be awarded during a virtual event that will take place in the fall of 2023. Judging will be upon a refereed journal article published in 2022. Co-authored papers are acceptable, but the nominee must be the lead author.
Nominees must be current CALACS members who are untenured and/or within five years of having obtained a Ph.D.

Nominated articles should be sent through the CALACS website August 1, 2023.
