Nominations for the 2022 CALACS Book Prize

The Canadian Association of Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CALACS) invites submissions for the 2022 Best Book Prize in Latin American and Caribbean Studies published by a CALACS member. The 2022 prize will be awarded during a virtual event that will take place in the fall of 2023.

Entries must have an imprint date of 2022. There is no need to submit a letter of nomination for the award, simply ensure that your CALACS membership is current and send three (3) copies of the book to the CALACS central office by August 1, 2023. Electronic books are eligible and should be forwarded directly to the office as well (calacs@yorku.ca). Edited volumes are not eligible for the prize.

Questions regarding eligibility can be directed to Dr. Agustín Goenaga, Chair of the 2023 Book Prize: agustin.goenaga@svet.lu.se
