Video File of the CALACS/CIESAS Webinar: "Gender and COVID-19 in Mexico: Domestic work, Community health and Extreme violence"

On July 15, CALACS held the fifth in a series of online roundtables on the impact of Covid-19 in Mexico. We were joined by Martha Patricia Castañeda (CEIICH-UNAM), Lina Berrio (CIESAS-Pacífico), Séverine Durin (CIESAS-Noreste), and May-ek Querales (GIASF). From a feminist perspective, the experts discuss how the Mexican President López Obrador´s public policies, particularly his austerity policies, have impacted the social and economic survival of Indigenous, Afro-Mexican and poor-urban women.
