2024 Congress Registration Open
Registration is now open for the 2024 CALACS Congress held at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), May 29th - 31st, 2024
The Canadian Association for Latin America and the Caribbean Studies (CALACS) invites you to continue your registration process for the CALACS 2024 congress at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), May 29th - 31st, 2024.
An active membership is required to register for the Congress.
MEMBERSHIP PROCESS
To renew your membership, please follow these steps:
1. Go to the CALACS website.
2. Click on the "Membership" tab.
3. Click on the "Become a Member Now" button at the bottom of the webpage.
4. Follow the prompts to complete the renewal process.
5. You will receive a confirmation email once your membership renewal has been successfully processed.

REGISTRATION PROCESS
To attend the conference, all participants must register in advance. The registration process is quick and easy. Please follow the step-by-step instructions below to complete your registration:
Step 1: Visit the CALACS Website
Visit the official CALACS website at https://can-latam.org/.
Step 2: Click on the Sign Up/ Login section
On the homepage, you will see a Sign Up/ Login section. Click on it to log in with the same email address and password you used to submit your congress proposal.
Step 3: Click on the Congress Button
On the homepage, you will see a congress button. Click on it to open the congress page.
Step 4: Click on the “Register” Button
On the homepage, you will see a Registration button. Click on it to open the Registration webform.
Step 5: Choose Your Registration Type
Select the registration type that suits your needs. There are usually several options, such as regular registration, student registration, and others.
Step 6: Provide Your Personal Information
Fill in the required personal information, including your name, email address, and phone number. This information will be used to confirm your registration and communicate with you if necessary.
Step 7: Choose Your Payment Method
Select your preferred payment method.
Step 8: Complete Payment
Follow the payment instructions provided to complete your registration.
Step 9: Receive Confirmation
After completing the payment, you will receive a confirmation email from CALACS.
VISA INFORMATION

Letters of support for the Canadian visa application are only available to individuals who are registered with the CALACS 2024 Congress and who have renewed their membership.
