Nominations for the 2020 CALACS Article Prize for Emerging Scholars
In order to recognize and encourage talented junior scholars in the field of Latin American and Caribbean Studies, the Canadian Association of Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CALACS) invites submissions for the 2020 Article Prize for Emerging Scholars.
The 2020 prize will be awarded during the 2021 CALACS meeting in Toronto. Judging will be upon a refereed journal article published in 2020. Co-authored papers are acceptable, but the nominee must be the lead author.
Nominees must be current CALACS members who are untenured and/or within five years of having obtained a Ph.D. Questions regarding eligibility should be directed to the Chair of the Article Prize Committee, Dr. Wilder Robles (roblesw@brandonu.ca). Nominated articles should be sent through the CALACS website by February 15, 2021
